Start Here

Hi there! Welcome to Matcha Nude! If you are new to matcha, we've got a quick 5 minute video to get you started. In this video, we share 3 ways to mix your matcha shot (the base of every drink) and how to make an iced matcha latte, a matcha soda and a hot matcha latte.

But we don't stop there! We have loads of resources and are eager to answer all of your questions. When we first started making matcha - we were intimidated 😬 so we are on a mission to show you how easy it really is.

Tools to Get Started

The matcha shot is the foundation of all matcha drinks, and there are several easy ways to make it:

Quick + Easy Matcha Recipes

Most people start their matcha adventure with one of the following recipes:

There is no wrong way to start! When you are ready, explore our many matcha recipes that go beyond drinks, including baking, cooking, cocktails and more.

Store Your Matcha Like a Pro

Matcha is sensitive to light, air, and moisture. Treat it right, and it’ll stay fresh, vibrant, and smooth for months!

  • Keep it airtight. Always store your matcha in an airtight container to prevent oxidation. No one wants sad, dull matcha.
  • Dark + cool = happy matcha. Keep it in a dark, cool place (like a pantry or even the fridge). Don’t let it hang out near your stove or a sunny window.
  • Use it up! Although matcha doesn’t “expire”, it is best enjoyed fresh, so aim to finish it within 3 months of opening.

Get in the Habit

Making matcha is a ritual, not a task. Here’s how to make it effortless & fun:

  • Pick a time that works for you. Morning, afternoon, post-workout—matcha should fit your flow.
  • Experiment! Try different milks, sweeteners, and flavors to find your go-to favorite.
  • Batch it. Make a big batch of iced matcha ahead of time and keep it in the fridge for a grab-and-go option.
  • Share your creations! Tag @matchanude on Instagram or @ilovematchanude on TikTok so we can see your matcha magic!

The more you play with matcha in different recipes, the sooner you will find your groove and your favorites! We can’t wait to learn what they are.
