Let’s be honest: some of us out here can barely remember to switch our laundry before it smells weird. Routines can help, but they’re not the sole answer.

Wanting it bad enough. Being obsessed.
💡 Obsession Is the System
Not the unhealthy, sleep-deprived, toxic kind. We’re talking about clarity. Passion. Drive. That internal fire that keeps flickering even when things get messy. Because they will get messy.
You don’t need a Notion template or a Pomodoro timer. You need to care so deeply about something that it pulls you out of bed before your alarm.
Call it discipline. Call it purpose. Call it being “in your main character era.” Whatever works. Just stop waiting for the perfect routine to give you a life you actually want.
When I started Matcha Nude in 2022, I got lots of compliments about how fast we grew or how often folks saw us in stores and at coffee shops. I was always grateful for these compliments but in my head all I could hear was “what other option is there?”
I decided to be bold and become an entrepreneur. If we weren’t getting out there, my business and ultimately my vision wouldn’t come to fruition.

🤯 Routines Are Tools, Not the Blueprint
Discipline is great, but it’s overrated when it’s empty.

It’s time we stop chasing routines like they’re the prize. They’re not. They’re just scaffolding. Helpful? Sure. Necessary? Not always. Obsession, on the other hand… moves things.
When I am inspired, I can bust out a month’s worth of marketing content, come up with a solution to that sticky problem that’s been driving my team crazy and even dream up a new strategy. But I also have to let myself have moments where I am not inspired, moments where I rest or just observe. Everyday cannot look the same for me to have the success I desire (which by the way, is a success I define, not someone else).

Imagine chasing your thing, your dream, your health, your healing, not because you should, but because you can’t stop thinking about it. Because it lights you up. Because it makes life feel less like a checklist and more like… living.
