We’ve got some BIG news to spill (besides our matcha lattes). Matcha Nude has officially been ranked #9 in the 2025 Venture 15, a celebration of the fastest-growing startups in the Asheville area. And we couldn’t be more honored to be in such bold, creative, and resilient company.

Venture Asheville’s annual Venture 15 & Honors event is the place where our region’s entrepreneurial pulse is taken and this year’s celebration at The Orange Peel didn’t just measure growth. It honored grit, innovation, and the community that keeps this ecosystem strong.

☕ From Small Whisks to Big Impact

Matcha Nude was born from a single question: Why is it so hard to find matcha that tastes amazing and is made with real, clean ingredients?

Now, our small but mighty team is not only shipping matcha and hojicha to customers and coffee shops across the country, we’re building a community around feeling good and making wellness more joyful, honest, and accessible.

To be recognized in the top 10 fastest-growing companies in Asheville with a growth rate of 51.87% means the world. Not just because we’re proud (we are), but because it proves what’s possible when you lead with values and build something for real humans with real lives

💚 A Community-Driven Win

This isn’t just our win, it’s a win for the cafes who whisk with us, the parents swapping coffee crashes for calm energy, and the growing crew of people making time for rituals that actually feel good.

We’re especially grateful to be part of a cohort that reflects what’s working in our region:

• 11 out of 15 Venture 15 companies were first-time winners
• Over half are women-led
• Together, the cohort employs 296 people, with 138 more jobs planned for 2026
• Collectively, all our our businesses together have brought in $23 million in revenue this year
• MANY of these businesses are ones we have collaborated with and are dear friends! (Like Pirani at #5!!!) 

This is more than growth. It’s resilience. It’s innovation. It’s community.

We’re just getting started. In 2026, you can expect:

• More wholesale support for coffee shops and retail partners
• An expanded education hub of matcha + hojicha tutorials, recipes, and customer resources
• And lots of surprises we’re (almost) ready to spill… 👀

🏆 Venture 15 Recap: Celebrating What We’ve Built Together

This year’s Venture Asheville Honors included powerful moments:

• Challenge coins and awards made from reclaimed trees after Hurricane Helene
• Honorees recognized for community impact, mentorship, and resilience 
• The Vanguard Award was given to Optimist Ventures, which we were in the first ever cohort!
• A sense of camaraderie that can’t be faked because this region shows up for its founders

And Matcha Nude was proud to be there in the room, cheering for the companies and humans that make Asheville the place we love to build in.
