A fizzy little matcha cocktail (minus the booze) that’s giving herbal spa day in a glass.
Why You’ll Love It 💚
This Matcha Basil Limeade is light, refreshing, and packed with feel-good flavor. It’s citrusy, slightly sweet, and herby in the best way—like a matcha mojito’s cleaner, greener cousin. Whether you’re winding down, hosting brunch, or just pretending you're on vacation, this drink brings the chill.
Bonus? It passed the ultimate test: “It’s one of the first matcha drinks my non-matcha-drinking husband said wasn’t terrible.” 🙃 We’ll take it!
🌿 What Makes It Glow:
- Just 6 ingredients
- Naturally sweetened (no refined sugar)
- Vegan-friendly & caffeine-lifting
- A fun way to use your matcha outside the latte zone
- Still, sparkling, or even mocktail-optional

Ingredients
-
½ tsp Matcha Nude
- 2 tbsp water (for whisking matcha)
- Juice of 1 lime (about 2 tbsp)
- ½–1 tbsp maple syrup or agave (adjust to taste)
- 2–3 fresh basil leaves, muddled
- 1 cup cold water or sparkling water
- Ice
Directions
Whisk the Matcha: In a small bowl, whisk Matcha Nude with 2 tablespoons of water until smooth and frothy.
Muddle the Basil: In a glass or cocktail shaker, muddle basil with lime juice and sweetener until fragrant.
Assemble: Add cold still or sparkling water to the glass. Pour the whisked matcha over the top for a pretty layered effect (or shake it all together for a vibrant green glow).
Serve Over Ice: Pour into your favorite glass with ice. Garnish with a sprig of basil and a lime wheel if you’re feeling extra.
Recipe Note
Optional Twists:
✨ Add cucumber slices for spa-day vibes
✨ Use mint instead of basil for a mojito moment
✨ Want to spike it? Tequila or gin play very well here
