Nanner Puddin’ Matcha Latte

Yields 1 (16-20oz) drink

Our coffee shop partners are INCREDIBLE! Overlook Coffee Collective in Asheville came up with this gem and were so generous to share with us! If making it at home feels like too much work, go check them out while this speciality latte is still on the menu! 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 tsp Matcha Nude
  • 2oz hot (not boiling) water
  • 2oz heavy whipping cream (regular or dairy free)
  • 1oz Monin banana purée
  • 1/2oz Monin Vanilla
  • 1/2oz Monin Toasted Marshmallow
  • Monin Sea Salt Caramel Toffee Sauce
  • Coarse Sea Salt
  • 2-3 Nilla Wafers

HOW TO:

Step One:

  1. Combine 1/2 tsp Matcha Nude and 2 oz of hot water.
  2. Use a bamboo whisk or milk frother to incorporate to the desired texture.

Step Two:

  1. In a shaker, add the matcha mixture, 3/4 oz Monin banana purée, 1/2 oz Monin vanilla, ice, and milk of choice.
  2. Shake for 15-20 seconds and pour into a glass of choice.

Step Three:

  1. In a small pitcher, add 2 oz heavy cream (dairy free works too), 1/4 oz Monin banana purée, and 1/2 oz Monin Toasted Marshmallow.
  2. Whisk with a milk frother for 10-15 seconds until the desired cold foam texture is achieved.
  3. Top with a drizzle of Monin Sea Salt Caramel Toffee Sauce.
  4. Add crushed Nilla Wafers and coarse sea salt for garnish.

Step Four:

  1. Let the flavors 🍌 explode in your mouth! Enjoy!
