Matcha Nude Gin Collins 🍹
This drink was birthed from the Chow Chow: An Asheville Culinary Event Series. We were so grateful to be a part of their opening party and serve Gin Collins as well as its alcoholic counter part.
The best part, this drink is super easy + simple. After you make the simple syrup and store it in your fridge, it is a really quick drink to build.
HOW TO:
☝️ Make a matcha simple syrup! This can be made ahead + kept in the fridge. Mix together 2 cups hot water with 2 cups sweetener of choice (sugar/honey/maple). Then take about 1/2 cup of the simple syrup in a smaller cup + mix in 1.5 tbsp Matcha Nude. An electric frother or immersion blender is recommended but not required. Add the matcha syrup to the rest of the syrup, give it a stir, give it a lid + pop it in the fridge!
✌️ Build the drink! Fill your cup with:
- 🧊 Ice
- 1/4 Matcha Nude simple syrup
- 1/4 lemon juice
- 1/2 gin (or alcohol of choice!)
**Want to make it non-alcoholic? Skip the gin + replace it with more sparkling water. It’s super delicious!
