Deep Ocean 🌊 Matcha
This mermaid-like hydration drink is incredibly refreshing, is a great way to enjoy matcha without milk and treats your body well! 🧜♀️
INGREDIENTS:
💧Lime juice not only provides the amazing flavor but also provides a massive boost of vitamin C + a little natural sugar!
💧Filtered water of course offers natural hydration and is sufficient to rehydrate. But sometimes we need more! Sometimes we want more!
💧Salt is vital for hydration. If you lose too much salt from sweating and it is not replaced, your cells can no longer take in water or carry away waste products. Thats why you don’t want to skip the salt here!
💧Maple Syrup not only makes this drink a bit sweet and less tart, but it also helps balance your blood sugar levels and offers helpful minerals!
💧Blue Spirulina is one of those incredibly underrepresented superfoods! It is a type of cyanobacteria often referred to as blue-green algae. I could bore you with paragraphs + paragraphs on how cool this is outside of offering an amazing color to this drink but ill try to keep it short.
Blue Spirulina is loaded with various nutrients and antioxidants, is anti-inflammatory, may reduce blood pressure and aid in blood sugar control.
It contains protein, vitamin b1, b2 and b3, copper, iron, magnesium, potassium, manganese and more!
Probably the coolest springtime benefit is that Spirulina improve allergic rhinitis - inflammation in your nasal passageways.
💧Matcha of course has its own collection of benefits too! High in antioxidants, anti-inflammatory properties, enhances mood + aids in concentration, high in EGCG catechins which have been linked to better heart health + metabolism + my personal fav >> L-theanine which relaxes muscles + reduces anxious energy, provides a sense of calm!!
