This drink was birthed from the Chow Chow: An Asheville Culinary Event Series.
We were so grateful to be a part of their opening party and serve Gin Collins as well as its non-alcoholic counter part.
The best part, this drink is super easy + simple. After you make the simple syrup and store it in your fridge, it is a really quick drink to build.
Ingredients
- π§ Ice

ΒΌ of your cup with Matcha Nude simple syrup

ΒΌ of your cup with lemon juice
-
Β½ of your cup with gin (or alcohol of choice!)
Directions
Step 1: How to Make a Matcha Simple Syrup (This can be made ahead + kept in the fridge.)
Mix together 2 cups hot water with 2 cups sweetener of choice (sugar/honey/maple).
Then take about Β½ cup of the simple syrup in a smaller cup + mix in 1 Β½ tbsp Matcha Nude. (An electric frother or immersion blender is recommended but not required.)
Add the matcha syrup to the rest of the syrup, give it a stir, add a lid + pop it in the fridge!
Step 2: Build the Drink!
Fill your cup with the ingredients list above!
Give it a stir + too with your favorite sparkling water π
Recipe Note
**Want to make it non-alcoholic? Skip the gin + replace it with more sparkling water. Itβs super delicious!
