Nude Smoothie Bowl
Not a typical winter recipe but if you are missing the summer weather, smoothie bowls, sundresses and patio cocktails, then this might be for you babe!
So dream away, while you dig into this stunning Nude smoothie bowl.
Smoothie bowls are a great way to get a nutrient dense breakfast or afternoon snack that is also full of fibre.
2 peeled, sliced and frozen ripe bananas
1/4 cup chopped ripe frozen Pineapple, Blueberries or Mango
1/2 - 1 cup coconut milk
2 tsp Matcha
1 heaping cup organic frozen spinach
TOPPINGS: can be anything that you like but here are some ideas.
Fresh or frozen berries
Kiwi fruit slices
Chia Seeds or hemp hearts
Slivered roasted nuts
1. Add frozen banana slices, pineapple, lesser amount of coconut milk (3/4 cup), matcha powder, and spinach to a blender and blend on high until creamy and smooth. Add only as much coconut milk as you need to help it blend. In my opinion, you want this smoothie somewhere between scoopable and drinkable.
2. Taste and adjust flavour as needed, adding more banana (or a touch of maple syrup or stevia) for sweetness, matcha for more intense green tea flavour, or coconut milk for creaminess.
3.Divide between two serving bowls and top with desired toppings. YUMMM!
