Matcha Nude Dalgona Latte - vegan edition
So this was a fun isolation activity. It started with instant coffee and then the Matcha world made a Matcha version and then we also came up with a fun and creative vegan option. Super fun to make and even more fun to drink. deliciously decadent, I save this one for my Sunday mornings.
INGREDIENTS:
1/4 cup aquafaba (aka liquid from a can of chickpeas)
1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
2–3 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 teaspoon Matcha powder @matchanude
1 cup Vanilla oat milk, for serving (or other plant-based milk)
HOW TO:
1. Place the aquafaba in a large mixing bowl along with the cream of tartar. Whip on high until the aquafaba becomes fluffy and thick, which will take about 5-8 minutes.
2. Once thick, sift in 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar and whip it in. Then continue adding the remaining powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, until incorporated.
3. Lastly, sift in the Matcha powder and continue to whip until it is mixed through.
4. Fill two glasses with your desired amount of oat milk and then top each with 1/2 of the Matcha Dalgona mixture. Mix and enjoy!
